Evoution Software, Inc. is doing a current SIF pilot
study for the best way for Wyoming LEAs to communicate
with the DOE. Three Districts are part of the Pilot operation
(Notes: Steven King will have more on this) RFP expected after evaluation
study expected to be released Spring 2004
DOE utilizes a rudimentry data collection capability
using web based forms that districts fill out
Assessment system 10 year old
Special Education System uses mutiple collection systems,
some as part of SIS
Teacher Certification System uses separate system
not integrated as of now
Professional Development almost non-existent as statewide
intiative
Unique Student Identifier capability being developed.
