Washington is strong local control state with multiple Student Information System vendors oerating within the LEAs - AAL, Chancery, SASI/Pearson, Howmgrown Systems, (CWSIPC - is consortioum for many of the smaller districts), Seattle District went from homegrown to AAL.

"Moving towards education data warehouse but not there yet. Needs legislative support and funding"

Unigue "Grants Management System" web based just implemented

Teacher Certification System is "paper based" according to Dennis Small - "needs help"

Unigue Student Identifier System has begun to be put in place but does not tie in Assessment yet - "plans to do that"
