Louisiana DOE Procurement

The Louisiana EIMS of Education Decision Support System (EDSS) is an Oracle based Application Service Provider project designed, developed by GITII personnel in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education.  This ASP will serves as a data repository for approximately 10 different education related databases.  The system’s primary role is to facilitate standard report development and distribution on a single platform, and provide the user community with a single portal to easily access a compendium of education statistics.  In subsequent phases the relationship between student test achievement, faculty certification, and curriculum will be explored using web based OLAP technologies.
