The U.S. Department of Education site is the portal for the various Web
sites operated and/or funded by the U.S. Department of
Education. This includes Web sites for the National Assessment
of Educational Progress (the "Nation's Report Card"), various
research consortia targeted to specific issues, field-based
centers who work with regions of the nation on reform issues,
and educational data of various kinds. It also includes a copy
of President Bush's education plan "No Child Left
Behind". |

Chief State Schools Officers, headquartered
in Washington, D.C., is the member organization of the chief
administrative officers (state superintendents or
commissioners) of the 50 states and U.S. territories. CCSSO
publishes a variety of reports and organizes consortia of
